Playground Equipment - Honepd Industrial design

Most children’s playground equipment follows predictable templates that provide a space exclusively for young children. The outdoor sports and playground equipment was designed to bridge the gap between children’s traditional play equipment and adult’s exercise equipment in a proposal for local parks and community spaces in Melbourne. The various designs combined the two realms in an innovative show of industrial design to execute creative concepts that encourage the building of healthier communities by getting families together and active outdoors. 

The various concepts have multi-functionality with countless options for use by both parent and child. The spaces offer diverse workout options for the parent, and a fun and varied play area for the kids at varying fitness and strength levels. The creative industrial design serves the dual purpose of improving health and fitness for all ages while developing a bond between families through physical activity.
